« Creating and Editing Events »

You can entering events to you calendar through the event editor, the quick-add form, the vCalendar form or through the command line.

WebCalendar distinguish 4 kinds of events: appointment, todo, meeting and special. The distinction is largely based on the information required for each kind of events. For example, a todo event contains a due time while an appointment doesn't; a meeting event has a start and end time while a special event, like birthday, doesn't. Different kind of events are decorated using different colors.

There is an event editor for each kind of event. To invoke an event editor, click on the corresponding named links on the navigation bar. The quick add popup form is available by clicking on the icon. The vCalendar form is available by clicking on the vCal link on the navigation bar.
